Re: sam444
I tried to post something short and simple. Guess it's not my style or talent. The words come out how they write themselves to be. Thank you for telling me; you understand. I'm sure your poetry was/is beautiful. There are so many talented and gifted people on Blogit. And as a plus, they aren't arrogant or condescending or mean-spirited. That's why I like it.

Re: Nautikos
Thank you for that, Naut! Uhh, fortunately, it's a lot shorter... Had I posted something that long - well, even I probably couldn't write one that long, thankfully for all in Blogitsville!

Re: Kabu
Great points, Kabu! There's nothing I can add to that! Thank you.

Well it really worked great in this poem! I have written poetry in the past and posted it on Blogit and I was just after imagery as you were but so many times readers thought it was directly about me! But that was not the case in most instances! If it did then I would say as much! sam

Re: FSI
Thanks, FSI. As I said, it was a figure of speech written for effect.

Well done! It reminds me of things in T. S. Eliot's The Wasteland...

When we know someone is hgurting, we should all hurt. Why can't we spread love instead of poison dear S, Sister.

#1 hears you cry. That's the person that can take control of their life love.

Sadly not many can cope with this,if it is what I think. It is not much good crying at the time. One cries afterwards, as it is all one can do. Of course I may be only thinking of one's own experience. Good writing though RP.

It does make a lot of difference, dear Presta. There is, after all, some good soul in empathy for those silently suffering theirs.
