Good morning CC,
What a beautiful poem about your mother. I imagine she is a beautiful lady both inside and out. I loved your wonderful use of language and imagery.

Re: Ciel
Well it is a true blessing or was Ciel. Hopefully new drugs will alleviate this distressing

Re:
Usually the case Kabu, of course there are better drugs today. Poor dears used to be taken to a so called hospital and only lasted about a fortnight. My cousin's wife was diagnosed 5 years ago and still functions if it had not been for treatment I think he would have lost her within a year.

Now she tells me and I have always thought of the ladies on here as those who walk by night.

I can see this so clearly. I have seen it. Mothers, for most, are allways beautiful. An excellent poem, this is, C_C_T.

I love it. My sons keep reminding me, for some reason, that I am now the matriarch of our extended family. I try to resist that, but it is true.

How it goes. Mother was a sweetheart all her life. Never had an enemy that I knew of. She was even her MIL's favorite DIL (my Gram. did have good taste LOL). Then with Alzheimer disease she became a monster for several years until closer to the end when she became that vague shadow self.

I can see her, sitting, smiling... My grandmother, after a lifetime of very little sweetness and much resentment and complaint, was dear and sweet in her last few years all else forgotten by her.
