Oh, perhaps. I think some women are like the sea.

Thanks, Lanetay. Yes, butterfly would work there, also. Good point.

Re: sam444
Thanks, sam. It was written after thinking about the changing colors of the sea. It interesting how each interprets in their own way, isn't it?

Thanks, Aba. I'm glad you enjoyed the idea and the poem. I like the terminology you have used here. Good one! Thank you, but me, a poetess?

Enriching imagery throughout! If you didn't say what was going on at the end it could have been anything the reader would want! And it still can if one desired! I kept thinking agonizing mental turmoil as I was reading! sam

Presta
I feel it a great idea that you could personalize the sea as your sister and express it so well in your Gypsy-style poetry. Ay, is it not pantheism or let's call it sanguinPity. All the same, a great job! Kudos, again my poetess

Re: TAPS
I know the moods of the sea vary, and I think that's often why sailors and most other people in general think of it in the feminine, so my mind took it one step further. I'm so glad you like the poem, TAPS.

I don't think I have ever thought of the sea being likened to a sister. I like your poem.

Indeed. Aha, I had to smile. I know that gaze, but I have never had the guts to say anything to anyone... LOL! Thank you, dear S. Sister. Thank you. And I'm glad it cheered you, as you comments certainly cheers this soul today.

We are truly S. Sisters. I have always told people who usually gaze back at me with blank eyes, that I came out of the sea. This poem is you in everyway that I see you in my heart. Swirling, dancing, to be feared loved and respected according to your moods. Adorned with bright and beautiful baubles that enhance your hair, your figure, the you, Gypsy restless woman that I have come to love.
