SO.......
Blackcat's posts from the last entire year are gone, and no one else has anything to say about that?? I enjoyed her posts, and engaged in some lively exchanges with her. She sometimes made my comments the subject of her next post, and yet...... all of that is gone.
Did she delete it all herself, or did something else happen?? Does no one here, care to inform us?? I was gone from Blogit for a couple of months, and when I return, Blackcat has disappeared, or at least her posts for the last year have disappeared. Does anyone have any information about what happened??

So Joe Love's posts from 7 years ago are still here, but Blackcat's prolific posts from the last year are gone, except this one. What happened to her??

Yes Joe's posts are still available......It's had to believe that it was 7 years ago last Tuesday, Jan 9, that he passed from this earth.....

Ummmmmm.....
What happened to all of Blackcat's other posts, which were prolific in the last 6 months or so?? This is just her first post of her return here, last August. Did she delete all the others? What transpired in the last post, to bring her to do this?
Wow, I am away for just a month or so, and we lose Naut and Blackcat, two of the stalwarts around here. But I must say in hindsight, such a pace and quality of postings cannot be maintained over the long haul.

This post headline was good and bad... but at the time, I thought I must do it in her honor...

Sorry for you losing such a good friend.
Ariala's spirit lives in your blog titles, she was good at doing them, too.

Sad to read this news. I remember her from way back when I was really active on here. She was the Queen.

Oolong! I forgot his name. Thank you. LOL Yes, Ariala was a pretty amazing soul. She will not be forgotten by anyone who knew her. She'd be happy to read your comment today. :)

When I found out about Ariala's passing, I went into a grieving period, as well. Yes, you were closer to her than I was, but Ariala and I exchanged emails from time to time, sent each other Christmas cards, and shared the same birthday month. We were also facebook friends. I remember an emotional day when I was going through my old blogs. I could only see the comment section since I didn't pay the subscription. Ariala had posted a picture of herself reacting to a one of my comments. She had that goofy "british librarian" look on her face. I wasn't expecting it, and I laughed so hard. I believe that somehow, she wanted me to find that photo, so I could smile for a moment. It worked! Ariala wasn't just a kind, honest, and just an aweswome individual. She was a good friend, and an inspiration to all who knew her. I miss her.
btw, oolong cracked me up! i totally forgot about him!

LOL... yes shellyb was like our pesky little sister. I don't recall anyone thinking we made her up but she definitely followed us around enough!

I remember it being said there was a triune! And that would be Shellyb being part of the equation! Now if she comes back then the whole thing would be settled once and for all, or not! LOL! sam

Re: Re: C_C_T
B.C No I can't remember only the song, I try to think back, all I remember was her sweet voice and that I thought it was really great. I think she adopted two characters must have been after you left. I just could not believe that I had been here that long, I guess it is bit painful for you, but this is according to the very old stagers a very quiet time.

Re: OMG - the blackcat
Naut -- I am so glad to see you're still here. Ariala had a couple funny personas on her blog, but to my knowledge (which I believe to be fact), she never "created" an actual blogger. She didn't need to. I'm not sure why people thought we were the same person. Perhaps because I was so loyal to her?
I also have a cat (with a name like mine, how could I not? LOL). He's a tuxedo with a lovely tail, and was a rescue also. :)

Dear Blackcat,
I am a Blogit veteran. Your friendship with Ariala brought smiles to the faces of many. Thank you for this beautiful, heartfelt, tribute to a wonderful woman and friend.
I have missed seeing you lurking around here. I hope this is the beginning of yet another return.

OMG - the blackcat
Welcome back! A whiff of the olden days, LOL...I'm sad to hear of Ariala's passing - I have thought of her sometimes and her many-faceted persona, and miss her. Actually there was a time in the beginning when I thought you might be one of her 'incarnations', though decided for some reason (that escapes me now) that you weren't.
Overall things were livelier here in Blogitville than they're now, but with you back that might well change - and of course I hope you'll stay around!
And re your comment: I have a long-tailed black cat now and and an equally long-tailed blond one (he's a male and hence blond - only females are blondes, LOL), and a short-tailed doggie named Ben, a GSP, whom I got soon after my wonderful short-tailed poodle Jag passed away. And all these guys are 'rescues'...

Ariala was the Queen of Blogit for a reason. She was an amazing writer and human being. Always entertaining and equally compassionate. She had many fans and very few haters. Thanks for stopping by!

Re: TAPS
I can honestly say that I never intended to return. I was surprised to find that Blogit even still existed, and as a "pay" site? Hard to believe in today's new world.
It's nice to be here but I don't know if I can stay. I'm finding it's a bit like sitting in my late father's lazyboy recliner. It's comforting because it was his chair and full of his memory, but it's melancholy because he's no longer there.

Re: Blackcat! WELCOME BACK!
Pat_B --- thanks for the welcome back and your condolences. We did have some fun in the old days, didn't we? I wish at times that we had left our old blogs up so I could look back, but who could have known this would happen?
I remember Joe Love also... are his blogs still up? I must go check.

Re: C_C_T
Ariala did sing and she played acoustic guitar. I'm sure it's her recording that you purchased. What was the name of the song? She had one very popular hit... and the name is escaping me now. Was it something like "Me Myself and I?" I would love to remember it.
Checking the date --- it seems you arrived after I left. Ariala stuck around for a couple years longer than I did. From what I can tell, Blogit is much quieter now. :)

Blackcat! WELCOME BACK!
I'm so sorry you lost your best friend. We lost out when you and Ariala were no longer bringing your merry tricks... We've also lost Joe Love - who I remember fondly. In fact, when I opened my cookbook this morning I found a copy of his recipe for peanut butter pie... Thanks for your comment on my blog. See you again VERY soon, I hope.

Re: Re: Kabu
yes Wiley and I still sweethearts but he is getting older these days and i drive him nuts by hovering over him.
BTW yes, Son is very married with two kids at University and the last one will be off in a couple of years. he was snapped up in his early twenties before I was really ready to let go but his wife is a very special woman so I got lucky.

of course I remember our Queen. When I first crept into this site I was so in awe of her and her group. It never occurred to me that she might comment in my post. I was just happy to laugh at all the fun you guys were having...then I fell seriously in love with Wiley and we are in out 10th year together.
I was so sad to read recently that Ariala had died. Shocked too because she was so full of fun and love; a very caring and talented girl. I am so very sorry for your loss. I guess most of us mourned when she left Blogit because she was gone from us then but I did hope that she might come back, and bring her friends with her.
