You're one cool chick, in any century, dear Kabu!

Re: Nautikos
Well, Naut, thanks for reading it and coming back to comment. Always love your comments. You're right, in most aspects of life I am very cautious! When I write these poems, there is a free-flow in which I indulge. Also, I don't even read most contemporary poetry, though good poetry of any period is an art. Consider this perhaps; one could say it is not I in totality who is reflected in my poems, but small facets, enhanced by the words and phrases I use, which is a craft that may or may not border on art. Hopefully, it does, at times touch art. Besides, poems about washing dishes or getting the mail would be far too...borr-rring. LOL.

RP
I read it before - and I like it's sense of 'wild abandon'; but I didn't comment then because I've come to see you differently, and I'm trying to reconcile the way I see you with the way you show yourself in your poetry - far more cautious...

Re: C_C_T
CC, I was making a joke! Actually, I was so overwhelmed by your words, how nice they were, that I was shocked and humbled. I thought, "Wow, he liked it!" My humor can be rather dry, I suppose. Thank you again for coming back and telling me.

Re: RPresta
How funny RP. If I seem less than enthusiastic it does not mean that I do not enjoy your work. I usually look at it and come back much later. I only think warmly of you always.

Re: tAPS
Thanks, TAPS! I love it too, but then, I love most all music. There is probably some great music playing in your area! Glad you enjoyed the poem.

Re:WileyJohn
I'll bet you hear music in the trees, the sky, the air, Wiley! And Kabu, too! Thank you.

Re: Kabu
You get it, I can tell. Thank you, S. Sister. Jazz and Gypsies, some parallels there, perhaps.

Re: C_C_T
Wow, my goodness, such kind words are a shock, and a welcome surprise. Does this mean you liked it, then? I thought perhaps no folks thought it any good... My deepest gratitude, indeed.

My musician son plaid a lot of Jazz at one time. I really understand your words. And on another level it absolutely reads of my Gypsy poet S. Sister.

RP. It is really your best, of course you must have felt like this at one time. All people do,
never mind that which follows. I don't quite see how you can work a horse into this one.
Today you have become beautiful.

An excellent soul-baring poem, I find this to be. Kudos for a great job writing it.
