I just can't get into sports unless I personally know someone on the team.

March madness is the only basketball I ever watch, usually because I'm in a pool. I love it because it's a quick tournament that's very exciting. Professional basketball bores me.
I'm a NY Rangers fan... but haven't watched nearly enough lately. I find hockey always better in person. Yankees are in rebuilding mode.... and baseball doesn't really heat up in the fall. Football season is by far my favorite. Every game counts. Ny Giants.

Enjoy your sports My Sam I am. Habbie Gnome has been next to the TV as mascot all Winter. he doesn't get to take a holiday while there is hockey to watch. LOL

My Caps might get another Presidents' trophy, although that seems to be a jinx nowadays.
I wish the World Baseball Classic could be timed better. It is never going to capture the attention of the masses if it is going on during March Madness. Unfortunately, I do not know of a better month to do it.
