Yes? In this poem there's a relationship between animal and human. Nice.

Re: Aba
So nice to hear, dear Aba. Interesting comment also, in that this write is more like lyrics than poetry, as a particular song tune was in my mind when I wrote it. Any double entendres are not intentional, though it is difficult to write this type of piece without them. Glad you enjoyed. It was all in good fun.

One of your finest, imho. The tale of the Laddie goes so well with that strong stallion. I also felt a kind of duplicity of meanings and it sounds just so delightful. Kudos, my dear Presta.

Re: sam444
You are correct, sam, in the musical feeling. The tunes to Galway Girl" and "Raggle Taggle Gypsy" were playing in my head when I wrote this. Thank you.

Re: Kabu
Yes, he's magnificent! I'm glad you enjoyed the poem. I think anyone kicking up their heels is gonna be a pretty sight, no matter what our age may be! Go ahead! You, I'm sure, are always a pretty sight, dear Kabu.

Re: tAPS
Thank you, TAPS. I love that horse, and your city's parade sounds so fun! Yes, it's too cold to be out and about since you are still recovering. World Sleep Day, hmm, on St. Paddy's Day? LOL. Well, I guess after one is finished with any celebrations...

Re: C_C_T
Thank you very much, CC. That's the beauty of poetry; it's left to interpretation. But I must say, no double entendre(s) were intended. And, I'm certain from reading your work that you still have muses aplenty...

I love the poem. What a beautiful horse. In our city we are having a St. Patricks Dap parade, and all the doughnuts are green, and Irish cream is in the coffee. No, I'm not going to the parade. It is drab and cold out there, and besides that, it is World Sleep Day too. That one sounds better to me.
