Priceless! I don't keep a gun next to my bed either, or anything under it. Bennie has his own bed close by! He'd be faster at an intruder than a speeding bullet - that's safety enough for me...

hahahahaha... that's hilarious. Thanks for the re-post! The Q-tip size allen wrench thing? Seriously? hahaha I keep a bat under the bed. Always have. Although I doubt I would be able to reach it in an emergency. LOL
I also have the same line of thinking as you... is someone really going to break in while I'm at home just to get a TV or some other junk? Seems ridiculous. And I'd rather they just take it and leave than to pull a gun and risk life in prison (or more likely getting shot myself). The ex wanted a gun yet had never used one in his life. Might be a good post... lol
