Reading this has me thinking that Islam is really in a cycle of sorts where it is ebbing and flowing. It may stay contained to its "typical" regions but then tries to spread itself only to get defeated and we are back to the ebb. Nowadays, with technology, the flow can be even more dangerous.

Very well written, indeed. I enjoyed class today, though some of it was review! LOL.

Very interesting and well done. I read about this way back when I was a teen, but it seemed like a part of the past to me (which it was) and never did I guess it would be a part of the future.

I haven't read the Raymond Ibrahim part yet (going back). I just wanted to say that I think you are right on that the big fear is being thought intolerant in these times.
