I tend to look at cellphones themselves as the new cigarettes. People seem to be doing most of their social interaction through those. Pot certainly can be that way but not to the degree that cellphones are. Heck, cigarettes in their glory years when everyone smoked have not made as much of an impression as cellphones have.

I know pot has medicinal uses especially for cancer patients but I also have seen how it destroys lives
