'And one for my master and one for my dame'. Remembers? Ha ha 5'2" and two, great it's going to be. It is 12 in the afternoon, so we'll keep the evenin' for celebrations, OK?

Re: Aba
Dear Aba bhai, what a beautifully eloquent comment! My, you are tall (at least by my family's standards)! I had a class in college back in the Dark Ages with a guy from India (I think) who was tall also, and quite handsome, and he wore a giant gold and ruby ring that matched his red turbin, though I was already taken (LOL), and happy about it, at that!
We have tall family members, which is anyone over 6' (LOL), and shorter ones. Stature is not always measured by height! One can always stand tall, even those without legs. Thank you, little brother, who is tall. hah ha! Yes, I have legs...

Dear Presta
I liked your reply to Wiley Sir, that all in your family tries to stand tall. So do I, and am 6'1", but am shorter to many of my uncles (maternal) who are inches taller

Re: WileyJohn
Thank you, Wiley! Well, not all of us are tall in my family, Wiley dear, but we do try to stand tall anyway! :) And there's still a lot of sniffling goin' on with me cause of this illness that was started by allergies that graduated into a grand secondary infection, effectively closing off my throat, among other delights. It's rainy, windy, and cold out, but the air is fresh... I'm getting better little by little! Hope you are feeling okay.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Aba, bhai
Okay, no pedestals! Cant have a sewing circle mentality here. :) Oh, have I got a cute story about that word. Another time. So, you, Zahi Hawass, and a few others know Sanskrit, bha. Pretty good. When one is sooo didi as I, one eventually picks up a little knowledge. Thank you very much though. But let's face it, I have never written a sonnet! Says it all right there! LOL!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Aba, bhai
Oh, cum on Presta didi (elder sis) you are one learned lady in you own uniqueness. I admire and adore you, and revere you too. Sanskrit is one of the most scientific languages of the world, though there is the threat of its becoming extinct. The only language which has been researched for centuries, unlilke any other which come from practicality of extended signs, in language. And if I were to sit on that high pedestal where you make me sit, I'd most definitely break my bones.
Ha ha xoxoxo.

Re: Re: Re: Aba, bhai
Oh, thank you. I would want to learn, as a student, though your explanations of works are magnetic. Here, my thought of 'guru' was as a teacher who is most learned. :) Sanskit must be fascinating. I take it they were quite detailed in how they addressed whom. I quite understand the terms, just don't test me on them! So you are bhai, but a Guru of learning/teaching, and I would hope to acquire some droplets of knowledge that you graciously bestow upon the unlearned. :)

Re: Re: Aba, bhai
Aba bhai, guru bhai, both are correct. Guru, loosely, is now who you would want to imitate or are attracted to, one who is magnetic. Like we address the planet Jupiter with being Guru, that which attracts, all the Earth destroying meteors towards itself working as our saviour. Perhaps I read it before you edited it, Eros, was not there earlirer which makes it better still. Leave mysteries to stand, imho. All the Hindi and even more, Bengalee, my language at home, are derived from Sanskrit. Btw, mil is sass, sil is nanad, if it is father's elder brother, it is Tauji, younger, Chacha, sister's son, bhajan and so on. All relations are named differently.
Cheers, Lol!

Re: Aba, bhai
Thank you very much, younger brother. Perhaps you read it before I had completed the editing of it. :) Or not... It's never completed, just paused. For now, I will leave it with apologies for mysteries, but wow! I thank you so much for liking it. It's good to hear. (It's been raining here, therefore, the umbrella!) Still hot in India?

Hi, Presta the poetess n my friend
I simply love the imagery of your poem, trailed by a kind of mystery I am unable to fathom. But you may leave it at that ... Such poems are my faves that just doesn't seem to answer me. Marvellous work, big sis.
