the only time I ever saw my father cry was during the National Anthem. He served in vietnam and I can only imagine what his memories were... but if one more athlete takes a knee during it, he should be benched. Or fired. Or given a history lesson. Nothing peeves me more.

we've had several generations who have been in one branch of service or another....luckily none died in service

Yes Strat once it seemed inevitable that war would break out every twenty years or so.
Most families suffered losses.Strangely many young men were thrilled with the prospect
until the reality sank in,Wives and Mothers suffered exceptional torment perhaps in the future a day will be honoured in their memory.
