Naut buddy, I was giving you an example... I know it's a religion, not a race. Still the same issue. No matter how many times we agree, it still leaves us with little we can do.

Well I never answer religious or political blogs Naut. However I will say that terrorism features daily in all our papers and news with various advice to those who are suppose to suppress it.Probably only a world more sophisticated than this one could provide an answer.

I thought you might like my comment, LOL. I wish we lived closer together, so that we could perhaps share an adult beverage, while watching and protesting the latest permissive liberal pacifist media's false and sympathetic coverage of so-called Islamic extremism.
For the benefit of others, who may or may not have noticed, I asked you to humor me when I used the term 'evil Islamic extremism'..... not because of the word evil, but because of the term 'Islamic extremism'. There is some fancy word for a phrase that contains two words meaning the same thing, but it escapes me at the moment. You and I know that the doctrines of Islam and all Muslims who believe in them are automatically extreme. There are those Muslims who kill people, and those who do not, but they share the same dogma. There is no real 'moderate' Muslim, until a reform movement takes hold and offers a real alternative. I hope and pray that will happen, perhaps like Catholic VS Protestant, when the Protestants emerged with real reform in the Middle Ages.
I am glad you mentioned contacting our elected representatives about the Islamic problem. I forgot about that. My father used to write letters to politicians all the time, and I have done it myself, but not for many years. I should start doing it again, and so should our other friends here. You make the point that when you contact the representatives, you must know what you are talking about. No problem there, for you (Nautikos) are telling us all we need to know about current Islamic events, and I have posted several times about the bloody and predatory history of Islam and its doctrines.

I like the idea of saying something and taking a stand...I do that but not to insult good people living peacefully nor to incite hate that puts an innocent woman into a comma.

First I will say that you do a wonderful job with the "awareness" part. One cannot read you without being aware, and I believe that the awareness makes people very uncomfortable and helpless feeling. Then, I really like, and agree with, GoldenMean's suggestions on "What to do?" Little things mean a lot. When little things are combined with other little things, enough of them can make a difference.
