I use a tens unit....they do provide me relief...try moving the pad to a different location...

I use my heated cornbag for everything from sinus headache, down to arthritic hips, back, stomach-ache. It makes me feel better. I assume that my pain is not as bad as yours though and it does come and go.

Well when I had Polymyalgia I tries several machines, I don't think they made too much difference, perhaps one has to have faith in the process to feel any really good improvement.

The TENS should give relief but relief doesn't mean some pain just not so bad. I do hope it works for you.

I know people who really liked it. My father was one such person. My sister another. I personally HATED it. I believe my nerve endings or nerve bundles are too close to my skin; I couldn't tolerate it and it made me worse when they used it at PT. Maybe they had the settings up too high. And then, that's me..., nothing works right. LOL! Hope it helps you.
