Re: Nautikos
No worries, Naut! I have the same problem. You can't begin to imagine how many times I have been embarrassed by that 'thing' writing words I never intended, and then sending them off to people. I can only imagine what they must think...

Re: Nautikos
Well, Naut, it is from very deep in The Vault. And it's perfectly fine if you find little to add or not (though you did, and I thank you, and, it makes perfect sense). I'm just glad you stopped by to comment. Many thanks. I appreciate it.

This thing I'm using puts words in my fingers that are often wrong! Of course it's my fault that I don't check before pressing the button....

The others have already covered things so well, there is little to add. But it did occur to me this poem speaks is a young, budding relationship...

Thanks, Wiley! Perhaps I have a bit of that in me...
Say hi to Dear Kabu for me; I haven't seen her around my Blogitsville house lately.

Re: CCT
Wow! A wonderful 5-star answer, CC. That's a very sweet and magical thing to say to someone and a great answer. I'll bet the ladies really enjoy your company.

Re: Aba, brother
That is a good and correct take on it, for one cannot argue with the truth, and win! LOL! Kudos to you. Hope you are feeling better.

A vaulting poem indeed, dear sis
What I liked about the poem was that it begins with a question in exasperation, 'what do you think I am', probably not expecting from him the answer, 'a free spirit like I am'. Her breakng into a near smile in exhaled silence is indicative of her joyous happiness at the spontaneous reply which must have floored her, and she instinctively knew he spoke the truth. When there are no two opinions, it it becomes united in undisputed harmony. That is my take on this.
