It is one of the most unusual I have ever seen.

Re: Kabu

I'll be looking forward to reading them. How nice for your g-nieces! And for you to relive your memories to share with us.

Re: FSI

I wonder about the person who designed that sign...

Re: lanetay

With directions like that, I probably would do that!

But you must want to choose a road?

Re: BC

Yes, they are all good. One would need a few months, I think, to visit the Italian spots that call...

Italy is beautiful no matter in what city you may end

I do intend to write more vignettes of Italy between other posts. My Grand nieces have been travelling through parts of \italy and it brings back the feel the need to be there.

I think I would just carry straight on of there was such a road.

ohhhh... all of the above!!   I loved Sorrento most.  I could have stayed for days in Florence, but in Sorrento, I felt like I belonged there.  But there is so much I still haven't seen.....

Re: Hi bro Aba

I hope you are feeling better with the meds. Yes, I felt the title was as confusing as the sign also; therefore, apprrpriate. :) And to further confuse the confusion, I have shown the other side of the sign (I believe) in my answer to Nautiko, below. I have been trying to determine where this sign is posted. Malta? It's bordering on bizarre. I would have to just laugh. I suppose the locals know. But then, they don't need the sign...

Re: TAPS - from the sign on the front post:

Such difficult choices, TAPS, but Sorrento calls to me most strongly of these choices on the front post. No, it sings to me. To breathe the air, with the scent of lemon blossoms, to  see the views, to BE there on a deck, sipping something; just the way it's situated, I think there is a peace there. And, coincidentally, there is a chance I once had Family there, but I have yet to prove that to myself. Others have declared it to be so and have it in their family trees. Thank you. Great question, and now, which would you choose, and why?

Hi sis Presta

The signposts with its title Decisions, Decisions, can be more confusing than one being able to decide. 4 of them jointly in two's, point to the same direction.  Anyway, if I ever go there, I'll ask u first.

Which one would you go to? ....and why?

Re: Re: Nautikos

Oops, can't be Capri, it's on the sign... I'm lost.

Re: Nautikos

I tried to figure it out also, but I got lost somewhere south of Napoli and north of Sicilia.

I think this is the other side of the sign? I'd need a local and Mapquest. No, you cannot drive to Milano, and no need to end up in Africa.LOL! Could it be on Capri? Can't drive there either..

RP

Well, I've been to Milano, so it will be kind of a roundtrip to the other places, plus a few more. But I was asking myself where this signpost is located! The signs pointing to Napoli and Milano are both pointing north, so this must be pretty far south. And than I look at the sign pointing northeast to Sicilia - and it occurred to me this signpost has to be southwest of there! Which means it must be somewhere in Africa...That means driving is out of the question!

Oh well, I'll fly. But then I need directions to the airport...
