Lol..I just saw your question re: JessieE or Victor..I am Victor Mendez. On FB I am Jessie Echeverria, a pseudonym where you will also find my poems attached to a pic that I felt spoke to the poem I wrote.

Hey, we aim to please, ere thou wouldst depart yon Blogitsville! LOL. I do enjoy your poems, but do not possess sufficient profundity, nor am I astutely canny enough to venture a guess as to their meaning(s). I merely comment as an aside.

Thank you for posting these gems. Jumping rope - double dutch, yes, I remember. Usually it was the girls who did that... I remember my skirts, sure! My first straight skirt, yes, indeedy, I remember that one, too. I really liked the last two words of the second poem. Well done.
