you were right. Everything changed. It was the day that many of us in the USA (among others) lost our innocence. It could, and did happen to us. If it could happen in NYC, it could happen anywhere. It was previously unimaginable.
I know that I was forever changed.

Wasn't just an attack on NYC - but on all humanity, IMHO.
Thank heaven, Naut, there are more of us (people of good will) than there are of them.
