Yes mine had stood in an old shed through the war. It used to stall at about 35mph suicidal as lorries were only allowed to run at 30mpm . I did find out later that a small pump had dried out and needed oil.

Glad if it brought a smile! Very different times, not so much traffic and few rules. No seat belts etc.
