I would seriously think of getting some thigh pads . Not good news falling whatever the circumstances. As you say the dog might think it is defending property or something ,but no way should it attack anyone. A good job when you can sell and move. Always go into the nearest bar near to your potential new home and ask what the neighbors are like.
A lot of heartache can be saved that way. Well get your son to find it out.

This is just awful. Such a sad story all the way around. I hope the issue of the dog can be made safe for you for the rest of the time you live there.
