I don’t feel attacked. The fact is that God is described as merciful and compassionate. We hate what people who live in fear can do to others. Fear causes greed, hate, cruelty,etc. Let’s not blame a religion for its misinterpretation by the fearful and ignorant.

Mercy and Compassion? How about the mercy given to the gay men thrown off the tops of buildings in the Middle East?
It makes me question that........
"How does that show Allah's Mercy and Compassion?
