Rotten business; this saying goodbye to those we didn't ever want to. HUGS. And if I was to have a funeral, this would be a good idea....but I am not!!having a funeral.

I expect it was the way she wanted it. Sad though to lose both through this way.
Bless you.

That was indeed a sad moment for the family. But that she died and the entire happenings afterwards went so gracefully, is something that touched me. My deepest sympathies for all bereaved.

What a beautiful goodbye, and what great memories were stirred by her celebration of life. I do know you will miss her and for that I am so sorry, but if you didn't miss her you wouldn't have the wonderful memories. I love you. You are a wonderful friend and a great example of living life to the fullest.

So sorry for your loss, Adnohr. I love the idea of celebration of
a life well-lived, and a joyful sendoff, tears and all. So much love.

Sorry about your loss, but I have to say I admire the way you said goodbye...
Smiles instead of tears...that's the way to say goodbye...

My deepest sympathies to you, dear lady. I’m so sorry for your loss of your sis. I must say, your sister wabted her send-off to be similar as my mother wished. Akthough we had the traditional service, my mother wanted afterwards for Charlie Rich to be played singing her favorite songs and lots of music, food and drink - and laughter. She wanted a celebration of life. What a beautiful post you have written.
