Good for you! Wow! I can't imagine golfing in that temperature but having the course all to yourself must have been thrilling. And I'd never thought about the bottles having frozen left-over beverage in them... It does present a problem.

Golf in any weather does not invite me. In the cold/snow, even less.
A walk in the woods, a hike along remote trails, window-shopping in a small town, these would be interesting. I admire those who play competitive golf, who can direct the ball where they want it to go. Just don't want to do it. Went skiing a couple of times when the lodge was open on Mt. Rainier many years ago. My favorite part of the day was hot cocoa by the fireplace.

It appears that we are headed to warmer temps over the next few days. I cannot imagine golfing in 20 degree temps.
