This is a great post. Thank you. And, if you've ever been around a tire salvage yard that caught on fire...it burns and burns and burns. Pollution plus.

Next t my place of employment, there's a natural landscaped drainage pond. Wild fowl stay there, when it's filled by a soaking rain. and yes, people throw garbage in it. It's hard to recover because a worker could sink. For myself, it's good stewardship keep it clean.

Education, education, education. It needs to get out there to more people there are better ways to dispose of the tires without costing money. Maybe posts on Social Media over and over again?

A chap I knew took a tire to the waste disposal unit. Most things can be taken free but tires cost about 7DOLLARS . Surprisingly some are dumped in the ditch.
