I guess, like all of us, they are attempting to stay safe by staying at home.

You made me curious about our Amish in Missouri. We used to go to an Amish store in Parkville, MO near here but it hasn't been there for years now. Even so Missouri is currently #6 in state Amish communities. Very fascinating. Of course my favorite things are the quilts and the homemade caramels.

There are Amish people up here where I live. Some of them make beautiful strong furniture and sell it here in a store on the edge of town. I have two very small pieces but if I had been young when I came here i would have filled the house with their beautiful and very well made furniture.

I grew up around them.
When I lived in Delaware, near the Maryland border, we used to go every weekend to Spence's in Dover where they sold their goods. Many Amish families had farms near Templeville, Marydel, and the outskirts of Dover. They are really nice and courteous people who keep to themselves.

The Amish in Pa. get most of their horses in Lexington, KY!
You will see them in Kentucky all of the time...especially in Lexington where all of the horse farms are...at the Kenneland race Track!
