The father of my kids sold cigarettes at a discount price. It brought heaps of customers into his tiny snack bar. The cigs. didn'y make any money but no one ever just bought them, they would buy their lunch or morning tea etc as well.

I had never heard of testing to see if cigs were sold to underage kids. Good you passed.

Like Goldiec said, I too have learned something.

I used to be a smoker, but I quit in 2007. I would not be offended if smoking and vaping became a bad habit of the past. It is truly a nasty habit that leads to many different health issues. In the end, quitting is the cheaper route versus life on oxygen, chemo, or taking lifelong medications.

FSI, I've learned something today and I always love when that happens!  I do not know the ends and outs of the business world but I found it very interesting that there's not much profit in selling cigarettes.  In Cuyahoga County, they have a sin tax but of course, that goes for tax revenue. I really didn't know that they tested businesses for selling tobacco to underage kids.  It makes sense but I never knew.  Thank you for sharing this article.
