I forgot to answer your question Goldie. Yes - we will take the dogs out every day this winter. There is a lake about 5 miles away that the road commission keeps plowed out. When I was 'visiting' with V last winter, I went with him there to walk the dogs. We see a lot of deer there too!

Goldiec, I think we are leaving Monday morning to go to Lansing and visit Aunt Betty. I will let you all know how the visit went. I can't wait!
This photo of V was taken in feb of '16 when he was unconscious for eight days after his heart surgery. Compare this to the picture I posted in my post & see how much weight he has lost. Look at the huge amount of edema in his legs and fingers! His fingers are now thin and strong but in this picture they look like fat summer sausages. His heart was in left side congestive heart failure and while I didn't see him when this was happening I can see that he was in critical condition by the edema in his feet, arms, and legs. Even his eyes are heavily swollen with backed up fluid. V's first wife, Judy, took this photo. They didn't think he was going to live, but 27 days later he walked out.

It was cold here today too! Do you have plans to continue your walks in the snow? We have deer that live here on the property too and sometimes they come up on the patio. I can't wait to hear about your visit with your aunt. I hope you have a wonderful time.

You are just as beautiful as I knew that you would be and I think Big V looks younger and definitely has lost weight since I don't remember when but he posted a photo of himself. Must be all those work outs that he is getting.
