You're right - that you are both okay is the most important thing. Accidents do happen, and first one in 18 years is pretty awesome!

YES FSI, you are definitely right there. Everyone is safe and that is what matters. I am proud to know that you stood up and admitted the fault. None of us are perfect. 18 years is a fantastic record.

Good Morning!
I'd like to say how sorry I am that this happened to you. Thankfully you are okay and so is the lady in the other car. When it comes to things like this I have to say it was unintentional and that is why they call it an accident. Everything will be handled with speed and this event will be behind you before you know it. God Bless you and keep you safe!

We have State Farm too. They deal with accidents quickly.

I am happy to hear that you are alright.
It is also great that you are being honest and accepting blame. That type of accident is prime for injuries. Someone was watching over you and the other driver, and thankfully so. I was t-boned a few years ago by a van. The jolt caused me to hit my head on the driver's window. The car was totaled due to it bending the rocker panel.
