Hello! I think very highly of women who serve in the military. I’m grateful to them, as well as the men who serve. I have a female relative who served 20 years in the Navy. My nephew and his wife both served 10 years, among other family members. Thank you for the post.

Thank you for posting this. We are a military family, and we have many military friends all over the U.S. The women are not given enough recognition for the many hats that they wear outside of the Armed Forces, and they deserve much more.

wonderful Post. I never forget my anger and frustration during the Vietnam War when Australia brought in conscription but only for boys. I hate War with a passion; but still feel if my friends that I had danced with, teased, and cared about were sent off to fight a silly War; why were we their female companions same age not conscripted as well!
