I'm wearing one right now because it's just the right weight to wear in the house when it's chilly. I don't wear them as a general rule when I'm out.

From what I have seen these past few months, it is popular with both sexes. They have made a more feminine version for the ladies. My hubby, grandson, son-in-law, and granddaughter wear it quite a bit, but I am not a fan.
