Re: Thanks for the blessings, Goldiec
adnohr, your house sounds awesome! I would love to have a big house like your house. It sounds beautiful. I hope you stay warm and enjoy your day. How much snow do you have?

Re: Thank you, Sea Gypsy
You're welcome. Please excuse the typos. It's my smart phone - it's not so smart. I have to babysit the word predictor.

What touching and heartwarming post! Thank you for being such a shining example of positivity among so much negativity. We taken what life gives and we grow from it and contribute all that we can in whatever way(s) we can do so. A very gap got New Year to you and your friends and family. And a prayer for them also is sent.

Re:
She put them on Facebook, Ciel. Her name is Donna Highfill. She told me I could use her quote, so I doubt she would mind if you shared it too. Just give her credit, please.

Those words beautifully express hope and purpose for all we are dealing with, and ring as truth! I wonder if she'd allow you to share them on FBook where many others might benefit from them...?

Thanks for the blessings, Goldiec
My ex doubled the size of this house. I bought it from him when he left, and yes - it is expensive to heat in the winter. I have no regrets because I love the area, and have had the room to shelter many others throughout the years. However, I'm not a housework fanatic, and the biggerr it is, the harder to keep clean!

Actually, FSI, compared to so many others, my immediate family
has had it pretty good up to now. Those wise words showed up at exactly the right time for me- reminding me that wallowing in despair helps nothing. It's time to roll up our sleeves and do as much as we can to make things better.

Thank you, Pat_B. I return that big (safely masked) hug. I try as much as possible to muffle my thoughts concerning the anti-vaxxers. It brings out the worst in me, it can keep me rocking with rage for hours when I get started.

oh dear too much happening all at once. I am sending prays and love to your family and to Karen. I do love the thought written here. I have always felt I was asked to walk the difficult walk. I grew up expecting the life of a Princess and endedup living the life of a vagabond, a rolling stone. I suppose i wouldn't change a thing. You and I have that inner strength needed for us to survive the difficulties we encounter. I have heard women who would seem to have enjoyed an easy life, complain about everything. It is times like that I thank God for helping me through so many times.

Happy New Year
I'm sending many blessings to you and your family. I'm hoping for the very best outcome for everyone. I know you talk about how big your house is and I'm wondering when you bought it what was the deciding factor on buying a very large house. I have always wanted a very big house but I'm not sure what I would do with it. I would have to have the kids move in with us. Is it hard to heat a house of that size?

You do seem to have more of a share of sadness to bear. I do hope things turn out favourably. Even here it is noted that 9 out of ten are vaccinated. It really is tragic.
I don't know if prayers help, but they are certainly needed. Take care.

These examples are exactly why the anti-vaxxers piss me off. If they
took a baby step to protect themselves and others, those with critical medical issues would not have to be shunted to the sidelines due to overwhelmed facilities and medics. Sending prayers for your loved ones - for healthy outcomes and no complications. And for you and your stress and grief. Sending a big (safely masked) hug your way. Hope the new year brings so many more smiles.
