When they hear any of my kids arriving, they sound like someone
is beating them, LOL! They are just so excited and impatient waiting on the kids to come upstairs. The snow plough man merits one little bark to tell me he's there, and any stranger gets the 'in your face what are you doing here?' deluge!

A whole lot has gone on over the last eight days. So sorry to hear about your daughter's mother-in-law.

We have lots, Kabu, and the ice in the tree branches is spectacular!
Winter temperatures can be hard on some, but the beauty of the snow scenes is hard to beat in my book.

It's curious, but I guess it's much like our tone of voice when we welcome
family/friends as compared to a stranger?

Lovely, Annicita! Right now with the ice in the trees and sun
shining, it is breathtaking outside!

I bet you Phil enjoyed as much as you did, TAPS.
You seem to have a close relationship, you two. I get caught up now and then in everything going on around, and I am working on my 'Our Lady' story too. Hate editing.
I'll try to be more regular.

Oh my - I would find it so hard if my kids lived far away!!
Even my grandkids are close by. I am so lucky!

Apple crisp is my daughter's favorite dessert. I use my grandma's recipe.
It is simple and the kids love it served warm with ice cream. We're thinking gardening too. I'm a newbie, but my friend Karen is a pro. Thank you for your good thoughts - such a kind person you are!

Re: Missed you. Glad all's well in the Great North and your Habs are
It really does my mouthy bird good to hear cheering instead of swearing, Pat_B! I don't mind when they don't win (sometimes), as long as they play the game, which they have finally been doing with the new coach. Most of my days are great, thank you!

Great news about the Habs. Not watching news if I can help it. Just headlines on my Phone. Watching Netflix. No snow here it was quite warm and should be for some days. BUT I miss the snow and Canada all the time.

It's always nice when the family visits. And isn't it something how the doggies do have a certain bark for certain people?

I did miss you here whenever I checked in which was not nearly as often as I intended. We had snow last week and now it is gone except on the north side of anything. By Wed and Thurs of this week it is supposed to be in the 70's. Today is beautiful and 55 degrees and I was out in the beauty with Son Stephen and Grandson Phil who is a joy--never boring.

Good morning
I can smell that fresh bread from here. Your kids are lucky. My mom makes homemade bread, but she is 3,000 miles away.

Good Morning
I was just thinking about you yesterday and I wondered where you've been. It sounds like you will have a good day. As far as dessert goes I was watching Pioneer Woman this morning and she made an apple crisp. It looked so good. At some point, over the next few weeks, I'm going to try her recipe. Roy loves apples. It's in the 30s here today and the sun is shining brightly. I'm already thinking about the garden and the snow is still on the ground. I'm wishing you good thoughts and hope you are doing good. Have a good week!
