I think parents should still have the freedom to give kids what they think best. Our parents didn't give a shit. But the goodness of humanity will always overcome silly kids' toys.

We had a JI Joe for one of my boys and an action man for the other. They had toy pistols ..cap guns and other rogh stuff. they grew up to be gentle souls more interested in their careers and their families than anything. Eldest one has always had shot guns but kept in a safe in his walk in robe. he is the only one who has the combintation. his children never grew up thinkiing about those guns. Out of reach out of mind, but that is Australia.

My neighbours kids were given a big box of Action men I expect they were dumped eventually. Although their are probably collectors.

Good morning
My hubby had a GI Joe. He was once the doll of choice for boys worldwide, and don't forget about those big bags of Army men that were made from molded plastic.
