There are many pieces of the truth revealed by the scientific kind of study, mostly regarding the physical universe of our bodies, but it's only just begun to explore that area which is not just physical. My belief is that quantum science is discovering the level of reality in which thought, not body, is the most real. It is like the subconsciousness of the physical/conscious level of reality: vaster and evenmore full of mystery!

There is a totally different concept of the Vedic Timecalculatios. I'll give you someday. In here, one only needs to memorize table up to 5 and that is enough. An IITian who stood first in Engineearring entrance qualifying exam did a three hours maths paper in 20 minutes. And when Bill Clinton visited a school, there were some 20 odd students and he was astounded to see 14 yr olds reply to Qs on multiplication, divisions and the like, they answered all simultaneously to the tenth decimal with deadly accuracy. But unfortunately this is not being promoted by the govt.sad, isn't it sad?

How I do love to mend my mind as Time itself bends just considering all of the possibilities of our cosmos. Yes, I do know about blackholes and their feeding and have read of super-sized ones feeding on the others. But Time, that is the great fascination. Then, I know little of physics, truly. All that I can learn, the better. Thank you so much. You are a true guru.

I take your compliments with utter humility , but this all is my special area of interst and inquisitiveness. I agree with your three-persned god ('Batter my heart three person'd god', by John Donne, and in 'God's Grandeur' by Gerard Manley Hopkins --

Blackholes, Time and the dark matter study is just about fantastic. You probably know that blackholes are collapsed stars of immense size, and their job is to feed the galaxies in which they dwell. During feeding time it decreases in its size till the last atom giving way to the beginning of a new star. Then there is a super duper blackhole which feeds all other black holes in each galaxy. This too, science is yet to discover (ESA - European Space Agency, NASA) has in one of the studies fLund this fact. And Time too, is not linear, it bends. Again, I'm blabbering a lot. Some other time maybe, when you wish?

Another interesting fact: The 2500 years Buddha takes is also the time our Sun takes to revolve its own and another Sun which, incidentally happens to be One year of our Sun equaling 2500 earth years.

I'm happy you asked that pointed question, and to reply to your query it may need a full article. It is true that a soul lies dormant for a while before taking rebirth. And this depends on what rung of spiritual truth one has reached. In short, a soul which is impure,revengeful and destructive,are back in the world very soon, say within a few months. The pious souls take another birth after relatively long periods ranging from a few to few hundred years. The Buddha, for example, since he is placed on the highest rung ... and a person of his standing takes birth after 2500 years. They can even Will their births if something is yet left for mankind to be taught, this may apply to Jesus. But of course eons it doesn't take. This is in short, however

Actually so did I think and you are right and that everyone has some of the pieces. But that some of the principles are so scientific, for example, the distance of stars and galaxies from one another and their movements and speed at which they travel in the skies, the concepts of blackholes and their roles as feeding the galaxies are so flawless as to leave one awestruck. Many scientists, especially Germans come to India to learn Sanskrit and than apply to their researches the knowledge, is an attestation.

Mine is just an assimilation, not really my own assessment. I get wonderstruck at the knowledge of the beauty and depth and accuracy with which they dealt any subject with. Many temples in India have depicted nine planets on the walls with many other details, the truth of which the world came to know only after Kepler's discovery. And there is a reason too why zero was discovered by the ancient vedic scholars. It has a symbolic reason. Some day I'll give a post. Thanks for reading.

Aba Brother

This is absolutely a marvelous post, dear Aba. I loved learning about the three roles of the Energies of the Supreme Being or Hindu god. So similar to the three persons in one God in some Christian theology: the Father; the Son; and the Holy Spitrit. And the physics segment of your post is very enlightening. I enjoyed the part about Rutherford splitting the atom so earl on. There are so many questions about our universe(s). A growing cosmos is fascinating to consider, yet where does Time and dark matter fit into that - and how? And will it shrink into itself as some say? Vedic concepts and calculations are fascinating. Thank you.

This is amazing and too difficult really for my lack od mathimatical understanding to really comprehend. To me it feels as though the hindu faith is very similiar to Judaism and Christianity. a question do you believe our sould may lie dorman for many years even perhaps eons and til they are reborn? When i was very little i " Knew" I had been hung. i just knew that in an earlier life i had been hung until I was dead and I was scared it would happen again. I no longer have that knowing excpet i believe it. What do you think ?
