I understand all about the sleep cycles. I'm happy that they had a shift that fits into yours. Enjoy the new job!

I enjoy that time of day too, Sherri, not only for the quiet time but
also because I seem to function better during those hours.

Haha! I believe I would take up too much room on your desk CCT!
And I very much doubt both Kabu and I would fit - how big is your desk anyway?
The travel to and from work was tiring. I still love to drive but lately I'm not feeling secure when it begins to get dark - and it gets dark early here in the winter.

Good afternoon
It's wonderful that everything is fitting your night owl schedule. I have a similar one. In bed by 8-9 and up by 4-5. It was not my preferred schedule a few years ago, but now it works perfectly. It is a quiet time of day that I have come to love.

Well even I feel pleased for you, I often shuddered as you related your journey into
work. Yes one can emphasize, please stop sitting on my desk as I try to write this.
It is the thin edge Kaku will be next.

You are right - Pistache seems to be in a better mood having her cage
closed up at 8 PM and opened at the same time in the morning. Less loud squawking and more calling in a sweet voice 'Hello? Hello?'. She seems to have picked up a Aussie accent in her hello's.
And yep - the doggie kids all come and crash on my office floor, snoozing while the work is being done.

Goldiec - same here. Best functioning hours are between 4 AM and noon.
We just seem to get so much more done.

Love that it brings back memories, TAPS.
I imagine you worked a few weird shifts too. Well, maybe weird for others, but perfect for me.

Good Morning
I'm so happy for you! This new job is the perfect one for you! I'm an early bird and I always have been. Getting up early has never been a problem for me. Staying up late is a totally different story. I really need to go to bed no later than 9:00 p.m. I can't keep my eyes open. I'm not sure how many people are like me but I love the early morning hours. They are perfect for starting the day.
