It's a translation from French, Annicita.
The French will often call their little ones 'ma petite puce' as endearment, and that translates directly as 'My little flea'

Re: Thank you, FSI. It wasn't much for that night but, oh well.
I don't have to drive the next day, and poor Mommy's terror is real. I did enjoy what little I had.

UGH! Taxes!
I have never enjoyed that, and it seemed every job I ever had included doing them. I concur with our Blogit psychiatist,; I am much happier now!

It is priceless, Goldiec. The increase in quality of life is enormous
as far as I'm concerned. I'm so grateful to have the chance to work like this!

I love (d) thunder storms, Sherri. My other dogs would sit outside
with me on the gallery and we would enjoy it together. Mommy is my first dog who is terrrified when she hears thunder. Like the others, she is from a rescue, and apparently lived on the streets when younger. Who knows what happened to instill such fear? It has certainly dampened my enthusiasm for it.

Re: So happy to read your post about time spent with Little Flea. What
I love all my grandchildren, Pat, but this one makes my heart sing. Maybe because I was there to watch her be born, or because my son always makes sure I get to spend quality alone time with her. Or maybe because she is just a sweet, curious, magic child.

The kids used to tease me because I would fall to sleep during movies. They
would say 'Mom sees movies different than we do. Sometimes she'll watch the middle of it first, then the end, then the beginning. It all depends on which part she falls to sleep watching first.' And yeh - have heard it gets more so as we get older. Hmmm...

As being Blogit's psychiatrist, alright only a joke. I must say that you do seem to be
happier. For years we have been filling in our tax forms and waiting for months to
learn the verdit. At last the Inland revenue condescended to allow it to be done on
line without a mulitude of demands. It took a week.

Good Afternoon
I'm so glad you get to spend time with Little Flea. I think this job is perfect for you now that you are home. I know your animals are very happy. It's been raining here off and on and it looks very dreary outside. When you are home you can always handle little things that happen at home. I call that priceless!

Good morning
I woke up to thunder and rain this morning. The sound lulled me back to sleep. The thunder is now gone, but the rain is still going strong and the humidity is low. It is peaceful for now, but we are expecting high winds again. I welcome the cooler temps. The heat has just made a good night's sleep nearly unbearable. Happy slumbering!

I cannot remember the last time I had a good night's sleep where
I was able to sleep for 6-8 hours at a stretch and get in some dream time. There are times I can nap during the day in my La-Z-Boy, sometimes fall asleep during a commercial break. Bugs me when I've been following a program and by the time I wake up it's too late to see how the story ends. Being 86 is weird sometimes.

Exactly that, your last sentence, TAPS!
I imagine you worked many night shifts when younger? Could it have originated there, do you think?

To sleep or not to sleep is always a topic of consideration for me. It seems I never sleep when one should and then fall asleep in my most comfy chair when I should be awake. It seems if feel the best and get the most done when everyone else in the whole neighborhood is sleeping.
