Better, thanks, Sea Gypsy, but still not in shape.
It's a tough one. I get very impatient when I'm sick. Need to hide out in my bedroom when I'm not working so that others don't have to listen to me whine.

True Ciel, they have stepped up more than once to take over the hosting.
This year there was nothing that happened except for Little Flea and her parents coming for homemade pizza. My daughter was working and my youngest is away hunting.

Me too, FSI! And so far it has been good games!
We are rebuilding the Habs, so lots of rookies but they are quite capable! Going to be dangerous once they get some experience under their belt.

Oh my, CCT - thank goodness they don't catch things!
A vet is more expensive than a doctor here! They do give better service in most cases too, though. I wish this bug would move along.

but my beasts really don't liike the smell of it. Makes them sneeze. Yes - the working from home is wonderful! Otherwise I really would have to call in sick.

still have it - sore throat and all.
I do manage to put in my 8 hour days for work, fortunately I can do it from home! I should probably get some more bed time to help get rid of it.

I've almost forgotten about the risks of other ailments!
One good thing about getting older, the kids do too, and it there's a great opportunity for them to take over some of the feast-prep whenever we aren't up for it, or are all germy!

Good Morning
I'm so sorry that you are under the weather. I know it's beautiful where you are this time of year. I can just picture you on a chilly October night wrapped in blankets with your fur babies close by your side. We are going to put our heated mattress pad on our bed shortly. It's so nice on a cold night to turn the mattress pad on before it's time for bed. I think it's so nice that you can work from home. It definitely has its advantages. Working in your pj's when you aren't feeling good is priceless. I hope you are drinking lots of tea and chicken broth. I think Vicks vapor rub works well too.
