I used to fish sometimes as a kid. I'm glad I gave it up though. I can't eat fish anymore, which oddly, I don't regret. Still, I understand the appeal for those who do fish and I'm glad you enjoy the hobby.

ugh. one time years ago we had a man we knew who would catch eels big black slippery smelly creatures. he would share his catch with those he knew. We could hardly eat it and then I started cooking it in a casserole with lots of peppers and flavorings and it was much easier to eat.

Good morning
Omg, FSI! You took me straight back to my childhood with your eel story. I was about seven years old when my family was crabbing and fishing at Port Mahon, Delaware. I caught and eel on my fishing line and started screaming, snake, snake, snake! My mom busted my behind for yelling like a maniac and scaring the fish. The thought of touching an eel sends me straight into cardiac arrest.
