Good afternoon
I totally agree with you. Recommended by our middle daughter's husband, we just watched two horror flicks over the weekend that left us scratching our heads. M3gan and Barbaric were just beyond words. The latter being the most morbid. Movies lately have become bizarre, hyped up due to trailers, and B-rated. We have been turning more to series because of that. John and I watch plenty of movies both at the theater and at home, and I can say that I have a few that come to mind where the ending left you saying, "wtf?" City of Angels, The Village, Lady In the Water, Mother's Day, War of the Worlds, Savages, Unfaithful, Knock Knock, etc...I could go on and on.
