For everything!! Baked beans in the oven is a big favorite around here and that is the pot. Most of my chicken dishes are cooked in it on the stovetop. It's the perfect size and very versatile.

Interesting! I'll have to try one of those. I do have a clay pot from Mexico, gifted to me by Suzie, who is married to a Mexican lad. I use it often, and find it very handy.

That is really cool that you found one, are learning to use it properly, and you actually have the room for it. I have way too many appliances to even think about trying one out, but I've seen them used on the Food Network. Fun!

youtube has some really great videos on how to cook using a tagine. There is one dish that is very complicated and takes almost the whole day. I couldn't find it but here is a link to several recipes you might want to try:

How fun. I really like mine. So easy to use. Sis likes mine specifically and has already put her bid in to receive it when I die. LOL. Even though I am seven years older than her, one can't count on that.
