Re: CCT,
Yes, agreed--the best we can do is provide a happy life and an easy passing.

Re: Kabu,
It's great to hear than Master Graysome is feeling better and happier! You, of course, are his anchor.

Re: Pat B,
Yesterday's blood test revealed that the meds are working, Astrid's platelet count is up into the low normal range. We all feel much relieved as this also points to the ailment being an immune disorder rather than cancer.

Of course the sad thing is that pets have a shorter life, even if it is a happy one.
Congrats on your blogging efforts, bit of relief the saved journey.

My Graysome pussycat is in his teens as well. he recovered from his diabetic episode which amazes me. it was bringing him to Jim here that finally did it. he lost the grieving look in his eyes and adores Jim as he did Wiley. I believe he had stress induced diabetes which I have seen humans suffering from.

I'm sorry your son's kitties are not well. Pets and kids can worry us
at times, and as my daughter Robin says, a pet can be as expensive as a human child when it comes to medical issues. Crossing my fingers the meds are working.
