It was the first time she and I met, in fact, and I was doing some energy work with her when he came in and gave us a verbal sneer, putting us both down for it. I told him he should keep his mouth shut about things he knows nothing about. That might have been the first eye-opener for her, in fact.

Sorry for your friend's loss. Often if one stands up to a bully, the bully will back down. I'm glad you did hold your ground with him.

I am sorry for your friends loss. I hope she will be able to think on all the good things they shared together and how throughout the marriage she was able to find herself and learn to express who she is. I am sure you were a help to her with this.

Quite a few are unlikeable. I once saw a courting couple and the boy hit the girl really hard on her arm. I thought that does not bode well for a loving relationship. Sadly so so-called love blinds all.
