SOMETIMES IN LIFE WE SEEM TO EXPERIENCE THINGS BEYOND OUR CONTROLL AND WE SEEM TO SAY WHY ME BUT THERE IS A SOLUTION AND IT'S TO LET GO AND LET GOD FOR ME AS A BELIEVER IT STARTS WITH FORGIVENESS FOR THE THINKS I'VE DONE IN ORDER TO HELP OTHERS AS A MINISTER..PRAYER IS VERY POWERFUL

I have known possibly four relations who committed suicide. All for different reasons.
Now what some call a religious experience is different. I think that follows a
different pattern. Once I suddenly became terribly depressed. Through different
happenings, I actually remember walking into a barn and saying out loud 'What can I
do with my mind. I just let everything fall, down, down, into an endless pit.
When suddenly I heard what seemed to be voices singing. Probably, some would say
Angels. Well, whatever I was lifted back to reality and my mind was as clear as a
bell. Everything looked different it all had a wonderful glow. I think it lasted for
about a few days, it was as though I had drunk a bottle of champagne.
I don't think I would want to experience it again though.

Good morning
I have asked this question since I was 15 after my dad committed suicide. Everyone claims that he showed no signs of depression and appeared happy all of the time. I have since learned that people often mask their sadness with humor and fake smiles. I wrote a poem about it in an effort to express my feelings, but that only helps a bit.

As a phsyciatric Nurse I believe when they reach out to you you are most likely saving their life or their mind. Mostly people while talking about suicide won't attempt it. it's those that are quiet, appear much more normal one needs to watch as well. Those that intend to succeed mostly don't talk about what they intend to do. You are wonderful with how you are helping those in need. Well done.
