I think the epidemic starting more so with the value meals that encouraged overeating and then you could always supersize it!

It seems some have not learn a lesson we recently bought pork on the bone.
It was supposed to be for four my brother and I had it for two days.
There was enough left for another two. The cat ate a bit and I had
to feed another two rations to the eight magpies that have started calling.

I had children plus a job in the late seventies and into and beyond the eighties.My kids grew up but I kept working. Still, I refused to live on fast food.maybe we would have some big nutritious stews and casseroles that I could take out of the fridge and deep freeze.

This was interesting to read and it was really insightful to go back in food-time. Now with the price of food both at the market and at restaurants, many have changed eating habits once more, I bet. Everything to eat requires extra thought now, it seems.
