I love how you write that we are all angels at birth. How great it is to remember that we can strive to maintain a part of that goodness. It isn't easy being human, but then, apparently it wasn't so easy being certain angels either... The choice is often, if not always, ours, it seems. Good to read this post and hard to not write and write about how deep it is.
