That poor child! It seems like for most children going to school is a good thing. I’m glad my kids got the experience of going to school. Good post.

Good afternoon
I believe that home schooling is detrimental to a child's behavioral process especially when it comes to learning socialization skills, reasoning, and life skills. Many lessons are learned while attending public schools, and shared groups like band, sports, art, theater, woodshop, and home economics are more stimulating when group participation is involved.

I would have been a total introvert without companions in school. I never had one teacher i liked ever at school. A couple I respected, but even so I think school was good for me.

I suppose it depends how good the parent is, no good if they cannot cut the mustard.

Two of my grandchildren.....
.....are home schooled, but then their mom is a professor who works from home by computer except for one day a week. I wouldn't have had my four sons at home for school unless it was an emergency.

Good Morning
FSI, I think it's very important that families have to figure out the social part of school when they decide to homeschool. I can see good parts to both but I really think it depends on the student.
