Good Morning

FSI, there are things about Public, Private, and Homeschool that I like.  I think it would depend on the child.  I went to public school and believe I had a wonderful education. My children went to public school and had a good education.

Depends on where you live and the child. My kids went to private parochial . The grandkids went to public. Why? Because the district got a boatload of funding and the schools were better curriculum-wise.

FSI......

.....There is good in all of those.  There is also always something not so good in all of those.  No matter which is chosen, parents must still be aware, watchful, willing to be a part of it, helpful, and stay informed at what is going on.  There is no school that doesn't need a parent's attention.

Good afternoon

Good question. The fact that you are open about their schooling says quite a bit about you being an open-minded individual. I believe it comes down to each child's needs. Some children flourish in public schools, others do not. Homeschooling is too iffy. There has to be an active parent watching over the needs of a homeschooler to guarantee that they keep up with their required studies and tests. My oldest daughter was friends with a few girls who attended the Catholic private school. They were more wilder than the public school kids once no parents were around to supervise. I believe that education also comes from home from the values that parents instill in their children before sending them off to a room with other children where socialization skills come into play. Regular smile

It depends on the child. My younger Son flourished in public school and in private school. my Eldest Son would have done beautifully at home, especially when he was little.. He had such problems, as a child was tormented at school, all of which he grew out of and is now CEO of a public company as well as part owner and manager in an optometrist. I believe the Catholic boys school he attended was a wonderful experience for him. The Brothers running the school were so fabulous to both my boys.
