- Go to Eugene Ionesco’s Study as a blunt symbol of man's inherent savage nature
Re: Anib.....
Well, I might turn savage if I saw cruelty to another. I suppose one could imagine groups of his animals rampaging through society.

Re: Brother Aba
Thanx a ton dear sister Sea. These are some absurdist theatre European writers who captured my attention, and I quite like their plots or stories — hardened souls who found the world to be meaningless after the ravages of the WWs … great playwrights all, save two who repulse me — Harold Pinter’s two-act play , The Homecoming , and another equally absurd was William Golding’s novel Lord of the Flies. It beats me how both of these writers won Nobel Prize. These two are the worst I’ve ever read.

Brother Aba
I would agree the play is tragic. Those who a prone to be of a base nature are prone to be savage but those who disdain reason are tragic. I do love how you have presented this post. Brilliantly done.

Re: Anib.....Hello ma’am TAPS,
That was so pointed an observation “man’s inherent” … and not woman’s. I personally feel that a woman is higher placed - “placed between man and God”. Thank you so much ma’am.

Anib.....
......I'm glad you said, "man's inherent savage nature" because I am woman, and I do not feel savage....though, at the time, I felt that my mother-in-law had a "savage nature." Thank you for sharing things with us that are different from what I usually read here.
