Sadly life  did not compel him to continue his poems. Thank you for this.

It is always fascinating to read the back story behind different writers' works. Art does mimic life.

Aba Brother

In a sense, of course he is correct: the only constant is change, as the saying goes. But to me, there is something else, something so turbulent within him that it's as though he sees the world from both sides at the same time. Each day, each moment IS different, and yet most of us don't see everything as equaling a sameness. We can appreciate the good times and the not so good times. He is definitely an interesting personality to study. Brilliant, perhaps on the verge, though... Great write, dear Aba!

I must agree with Shelley; this poem reads too much like much of what my life, my own days have been. Nearly 80 now, I may be old and invisible in the World but the feelings and moods remain the same and still no two days are alike. Thank you.

This is a thought-provoking post. Your last paragraph before stanza I is compelling. Like nature, we humans undergo constant change. 🍁🌷🦋❄️
