It must have been wonderful to meet people from your industry and see new techniques and equipment.... Conventions and seminars are useful in many ways.

I have been to convention quite a bit....
.....but never a car wash convention.

It is probably about time Dad gave you and Anne more
responsibility, apart from a million other reasons, it is good for the both of you to get to know other people in the industry, especially when you know the time will come when you have to do the buying.
